Recently, I had the chance to speak with members of the Spring Hill Chamber of Commerce. Here are my top three takeaways from that event:
1. All marketing advice should be given and taken with nuance.
Every business is unique. A one size fits all tactic doesn't and will never exist. That is why it's so important to get the right people on your team. Reach out if you need help with the digital advertising piece of your business.
2. It's fun to be around people in a similar boat as you.
Leading a business can be lonely. It's frustrating to face challenge after challenge with no network to help. Chambers across the country are filled with incredible business owners who are always happy to lend a helping hand.
3. Always be learning.
The best business leaders are constantly learning. I was blown away by the level of questions after the workshop. These people listened to an entire workshop and still wanted to learn more. That is inspiring and pushes me to want to be better about my continuing education in the business space.
